Haven't used them yet but plan to this fall on a few trips. Super lightweight, exterior material doesn't seem super durable i. e. youll want to have a glassing pad when wearing these. Would be 5 stars but I can't wrap my head around the $22 shipping fee for a pair of 11oz pants that get stuffed in an envelope.

Works well as intended, but makes a great place to spread stuff you want to keep clean and dry when the ground is not clean and dry.

These pants are great summer hiking and early season hunting pants. Great quality and fit.

I was disappointed with the selection of products in the new location. I know it’s attached to Simms fishing but having products available in store is very important in Bozeman.

I bought it in Coyote for an upcoming SOF contract in a desert environment, so I haven’t gotten to truly use it yet except for putting some weight in it for proper pack fitting. That being said, I also already own two other SG R3 packs…the R3 5900 and the R1 2200. Both of those are in Multicam, and both are outstanding packs for my uses. My only possible issue would be if I ever decide to run the 3300 with the R3 lid. The 3300 does not have the center strap on the frame side in order to keep the R3 lid from “migrating”. Of course, this could be mitigated if SG supplied the R3 lid with some type of retrofit strap kit to rig the center strap and SRB on the lid to either the pack bag or the R3 frame. But, that is actually not a mission-stopper for me in any way. I’m sure I could figure out something. Otherwise…I am incredibly pleased with my new pack, just like all of the other SG products I have purchased. Top-shelf kit, all the way!
