This is a great med-light blanket.

Overall, a good product. Pros are: easy installation, works well in a compact space (like a tack locker) and the panels of an english saddle can't be dented because the only pressure point is the nicely padded rod that sits under the gullet. My only complaint is that the cap on the end of the rod is plastic and it's a but sharp, so one can easily scratch the leather on the panels. When I get a moment, I'm going to try something with some duct tape and a few layers of kids socks to see if I can alleviate the problem. Aside from that design flaw, it's a handy device!

Overall, I really like this breastcollar. It seemed pretty rigid/stiff right out of the packaged, but I worked with it a little bit because I have a sort of "prince and the pea" gelding, who is really sensitive to stiff/uncomfortable tack, and with just a little bit of handling, it really softened up nicely. Appears to be well crafted--just right for trail riding with my 1990's vintage OrthoFlex saddle. The ONE change I'd like to recommend would be to make the wither strap adjustable. Overall, an excellent product for a reasonable price!
