Because ir's cotton I bought it more for an underliner use under his blankets. It keeps him warm without the sweat. But WOW is it ever pretty on him. Too pretty to be covered up but oh well. I also use it for his pajamas when he has to be stall bound. . Secondly I will ONLY BY FROM SCHNEIDERS! because when I've purchased blankets, and sheets for my 1100 pound QH in his 82 size or even 84 size from cheaper outlets, they never fit!!! I've wasted so much money trying to go with the less expensive. Never again. It's only Schneiders for my boy. :-) .
