Love the sun glass bifocal, great for shooting and reading the dash and GPS while driving.

SSP eyewear is the easiest pair of glasses to get the fit for what you need. In my case I am farsighted so I need a top lens bifocal so I can focus on the front sight. The frames are lightweight and hug my head just enough so they don't move but stay in place. I really like the ease that I can change lenses to get the color/darkness that I want depending on the sky conditions. I haven’t made it to the range yet, but as soon as I received my glasses, I took my handgun out and ran a few dry-fire drills. I’m looking forward to trying them tomorrow with live targets. I purchased my first pair of SSP Eyewear (for trapshooting) at the Nevada State Shoot several years ago when they first came out. The day after my purchase, I won the non-resident Handicap Championship wearing these safety glasses. Despite high winds, and while wearing contact lenses, not one speck of dust got past the SSP Eyewear. The eyewear made it so easy to focus on the targets and not the dust and wind. Recently, I purchased new frames (just to have two) and extra lenses from Mike. They came in a gorgeous case that is sturdy enough to go in checked baggage, and includes holes for TSA approved locks. So far things have worked out and satisfied with the frames and lenses. I realize that the lenses are fog resistant ("EYE NVR/fog") and that seems to be the case, but my purchase included a set of prescription lenses inserts and I was wondering if those prescription lenses are also fog resistant? It doesn't appear to be the case. Thank you.

I bought these primarily for shooting, but used them in my personal shop as well. I'm a heavy equipment Machinist/Assembler by trade and my company stopped issuing bifocal safety glasses just this year. The free ones were OK, but would be unusable in a week or less due to scratches. . . . But they were free, so. . . . Anyway I had to use my SSP bottom bifocals (I bought the whole set a few years ago) and I was not happy about it. I figured for sure I'd wreck 'em in a couple weeks but lo and behold the lenses have a few scratches after 5 months but are still totally usable! I ordered three sets of lenses (out of my PPE allowance, ouch), but they are worth every penny. Now to the headline of my review. . . I ordered and was assured next day shipping. 2 days later the owner called me and left a VM (I was working, no phones on the factory floor) and apologized profusely that he was at an "All Ladies Professional Shoot" and just couldn't get them out as promised, however, as soon as he gets back he'll have them out, and sure as shit, he did and they were delivered today. THAT is customer service! And it means a hell a lot to working men and women like me, not to mention that he was supporting the shooting sports!

I have a couple sets, and love them. The condition of my eyes has changed a couple times over the years. The latest, cataract surgery and lens replacement. So now I have a no magnification lens in the left eye, and a 1. 00 Top Focal in the right for an annoying bit of stigmatism, and it works perfectly. I think my only suggestion would be letting customers that need it, order right and left lenses separately.
