Overall a fabulous experience. The direct team and retailers weee super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Product fit was straightforward (quirky but fun) and the performance in the product was superior. Excellent feeling and grip through the boots. Pushed the 5mil’s warmth in sub 4c temp and lasted over 3 hours which was pleasantly surprising. Will look into the wider range now for gloves and maybe even the deep winter boot.

Ive given a 4, due to the delivery company being EVRI. The parcel didn’t actually get delivered to my address and I initiated a non delivered item. The process started and then the house that got my parcel brought it round. (A completely different street, who had many parcels dumped at their house). I closed the lost procedure , so can’t fully comment on what solite would have done. But they responded timely and started chasing up with EVRI

This is my 6th pair of Polite boots, so I know they’re not built to last forever — one season, tops. But when the soles start peeling off after just two sessions? That’s next-level disappointing. Honestly, I might’ve let it slide if someone had replied to any of my 30+ emails. Not even a quick "sorry. " Radio silence. The concept is solid — they look good, feel great, and I keep buying them in all thicknesses (3mm, 5mm, 8mm). But the quality just doesn’t hold up. The socks fall apart after six months (not ideal at £10 a pair), and the pull loops on the boots? Rip every time, always in the same spot. I’ve got photos of every pair doing it. In short: great idea, super comfy, but they just don’t last — and the customer service is a real letdown. Shame, because it could’ve been a brilliant brand.

For some reason the website won't let me leave a review in the product review section so I'm just going to do it here. Sadly despite hearing great things before buying and having high hopes I have to say these are the most expensive and worst boots I have ever owned in about 35 years of participating in watersports! I'm an 8. 5 UK shoe size and was told to buy a 8 as the heat molding process would allow to stretch to fit, it did not despite doing the heat molding numerous times. Despite being called split toe I really don't think thats an accurate description as there's just a tiny bit of webbing between the toe that doesn't even go halfway up between the toes so they don't feel like split toe boots at all. I don't wear boots unless it's absolutely freezing out so despite owning them a year they've only been used about 5 times, but I wore them at the weekend for the first time this winter, after a big wipeout the left boot came halfway off my foot (never ever had this happen with any other boots) and the boot formed a sort of suction air lock around my foot, so I jumped off my board and used the loop at the back to try and pull the boot back onto my foot properly. I barely pulled at it and the neoprene above the loop ripped! So after spending more than twice as much as I usually would on a pair of boots they didn't fit properly despite following the advice on sizing, they came off, and they ripped VERY easily. So I've basically thrown £100 in the bin after just 5 uses! I had really hoped these would live up to the hype but I'm sad to say they just don't and I'll be going back to standard split toe boots. Sorry I really wish I could give a better review.
