This is my 4th Solbari hat, and my second favourite (the wide brim hat is my #1) Functional: It's super wide and covers my entire face and and the ponytail hole is a game-changer :) Fashionable: I love that it's double sided and can suit any look. Material: it's polyester and easy to wash. Sometimes I've just used a baby wipe for small stains. One con: it IS a bit slippery like mentioned in the other reviews, despite tightening it. On a sydney windy day, you definitely have to hold it. This was less of an issue with the cotton-linen wide brim hat. . . but not as versatile for walks.
