This replaced my former Solano dryer that I had for 10 years. This dryer delivers balanced heat. While the temperature does get hot, it is soft heat, is the only way I can describe it. It does not dry out the hair shaft. On first start up if you notice a burning smell from it being new, just go through the speeds/heat settings, about 20 seconds on each one pointing away from your hair. Then dry your hair as normal and switch the settings periodically through the first use. I didn't smell anything on the 3rd use. The cord is a perfect length, not too short, and not too long. And the weight of the dryer is also perfect. Not so light that you have doubts, but not so heavy that you get muscle fatigue on long hair.

I purchased the new super Solano but I wasn’t happy with it so they upgraded me to the Forza . I have extremely thick hair and this one did the trick .
