Building a 34 on a PF940V2 frame. Really wanted to use this slide, but it seems the slide rail cuts were too wide, and the back of the slide would rise enough to cause the striker to slip off the cruciform producing bad striker engagement and a dead trigger. I put the slide on two other frames (both P80’s) and same problem occurred. I haven’t had this particular problem with other slides before, whether they be OEM Glock, blanks, or aftermarkets. Also the rear sight dovetail was so narrow I could barely install my Ameriglo CAP rear sight with a sight pusher, and doing so seemed to wear the finish off it so the sight now falls out of my other slides. Maybe it would work better on an OEM frame or there was too much tolerance stacking, but I bought an Alphawolf slide and now everything is working flawlessly. Too bad.

I recently had V6 porting done to my G48 OEM barrel, accompanying an SWE Maze slide that Ive had for about a year. The combined pair is about as flat shooting as my comped Stacatto C2, in fact- my groups were better with the Glock 48. I will have this same work done to every Glock that I run. I don’t even want to tell you how fast my turn around was for fear of inundating this man with work. It was FAST. Real, real fast. I am a believer in Slide Works Engineering for good.
