I purchased a pair of the RS waders when they first came out and just now purchased the matching RS wading boots. Both pieces are exceptional! I had a small issue wet wading with the boots and contacted Jack at customer service who was able to quickly diagnose the issue as thin neoprene socks and quickly fixed me up with proper Skwala option. Exceptional service!

Purchased the carbon jacket, carbon pant, RS waders, & thermo 300 fingerless gloves. Immediately took a 7 day fishing trip to AK. It rained nearly the entire time and temps ranged from low 40s to 60s. I lived in the gear for the full week - hands down the best rain gear and the best waders I have ever used. The gloves were an excellent choice to keep my hands warm in those weather conditions - even when the gloves got wet they retained the heat. Skwala’s customer service is second to none. They took the time to explain the products as thoroughly as I wanted without pushing it further, answered all my questions and provided no pressure - their demeanor demonstrates genuine interest in the craft. I highly recommend skwala products - you will be amazed with your choice!

As an outfitter for 27yrs, I have seen, purchased and worn every premium brand of ‘rain gear’ you can think of. Simms, Kuiu, Helly, Mustang etc. etc. Skwala is well constructed, well designed and tough enough to get our stamp of recommendation. You won’t be disappointed. The RS Jacket runs a little larger than the RS Outpost Jacket. 6’4” 240# 2XL.

Hey there. Iv had the RS waders for 3 years now. I was born and raised in Alaska and we grew up wearing sims. When you guys dropped skwala it has impacted our fishing gear significantly for the best. Hands down this gear is the best on the market. From early summer to late fall, and even in winter months when the days are dangerously cold my gear has held up which I have never seen before. I will never own another pair of waders or boots again in my life. I have all the jackets as well. I ordered RS waders and on second use punctured the seat by sitting on a sharp rock. Called Skwala customer service and they said they would repair for free because it was within 30 day warranty period. I told them I had an upcoming trip to Alaska and needed them, so they shipped me a new replacement pair of RS waders for free and had me send the punctured ones back. Great customer service !!! This is the way companies should support their high end products. Skwala did, and showed they truly stand behind their product after the sale. Much appreciated !

The Skwala team was absolutely amazing in getting my RS waders back to me. They found mildew in a seam, and replaced the entire waders. I have tried just about every brand of wader out there, and I will 100% be coming back to Skwala. Best in the business!

Im not an “influencer” or a Youtuber or an official ambassador for Skwala, but I shamelessly advertise how great your stuff is every chance I get. I used to talk up my carbon waders in my local fly shop (St. Pete’s in Fort Collins, CO) And a month or so ago, they held a Skwala Day to celebrate and welcome your brand into their store. I am not claiming to have had anything to do with that, by the way, Im just saying how cool it was to see you partner up! I’ve been eyeing the Sol tactical Hoodie, and when I wandered into the shop yesterday, they were holding an apparel sale. HUZZAH! Yup I put on the slate hoodie and I have one big complaint. How the heck am I supposed to want to wear anything else? It’s ridiculous how comfortable it is. I rocked it in some serious heat today and it is legit! I felt like I had a big, leafy tree protecting me from the sun all day. Does that make sense? I swear it saved me several liters of water. To sum up…I want to thank you for the real work and love that you put into Skwala. It shows. I know there are only 6? 8? of you? Kudos. I’m just beyond grateful. I now own… -The thermo gloves ( an other literal game changer, btw) -Thermo 150 hoodie -Neoprene socks(just ordered, not shipped yet) -Sol tactical hoodie (those are pockets?!) -Carbon waders (articulated legs? What’s that mean? Ohhhh that’s nice ☺️) I am no longer limited by my waders! -Thermo 350 vest (am I a “vest guy” now?) I can’t wait to see what you come up with when you release your packs next spring! !!!! Also maybe a beanie ? But like the best beanie ever. It doesn’t squeeze your head and slide up. Okay okay, maybe Im pushing it. I have been struggling for years to get the right boots for my local rivers. The felt slides on the pine needles on the hike down, the rubber slips on the algae, and the studs slip on the granite/ hard af rocks. Then the aluminum wears out super fast. Im hoping that when I can work a pair of the RS boots into my budget, it will help me...

Just another homerun by Skwala. Fits great. Fabric breathes, stretches, and dries quickly. The perfect lightweight shirt. It's gotten to the point now that every time a new product is introduced, I buy it knowing that it's going best in class. Love your stuff. Keep it up.

As an Alaskan guide in Bristol Bay, I’ve learned that a successful trip starts long before the first cast—it starts with the gear. Ok. So if you folks see other reviews from me you know it’s no fluff. I hand out crap reviews and take them too What I would like to say is the following. I’ve been guiding for 30 years. I’ve bought great stuff and bad like all of you. These sol pants and clothes are simply amazing. The fit. They breathe. My girlfriend allowed me to wear them to a couple weddings. It’s a classy clean look. As far as the pants go I wear them everyday. I’d love to see a dark blue or navy option. Hint hint. But guys. This company cares. They support the industry. My clients all love their stuff too. If you’re a pro guide you always want to dress accordingly. Skwala hits every single want for me. I hope they can get into our fly shops in Canada too. A small market but very serious guides. Tight lines guys! The skwala rain jacket is so good it needs its own review. I’m just genuinely impressed with this company.

I don't write many gear reviews, most gear over time is quite frankly unremarkable or disappointing, leaving me wondering if the money I shelled out for it was really worth it. I've been fishing what seems like my entire life, even had a ten year stretch as a guide. What I find myself saying quite often these days whenever I'm fishing and wearing any of your products is, "I sure wish I had these 15-20 years ago". And i've had zero regret purchasing any of your products. Whether its the RS waders, RS boots, RS bibs, RS outpost jacket, RS Jacket, sol hoody, thermo layering, shorts, and now these wet wading socks which are the best made, I never hit the water without any of it; period end of story. Purchased my second Skwala Carbon jacket in the darker color for a just completed trip to Montana in June 2026. The stretch is as advertised allowing for multiple casting angles and options and I even rowed the drift boat comfortably. . . . perfect weight for June and certainly handled the rain we had with ease. Age 65 with multiple surgeries on left foot. . . been on the hunt for a wading boot that has the necessary support and comfort for me to continue wade fishing as comfortably as possible. I have tried them all. . . . was pointed to Carbon boot on the suggestion of someone I met on the river and did my research on the midsole. Purchased the boots without trying them on and spent 9 days in Montana hiking and fishing. . . . ling story short the boots were tremendous ! My foot survived and the trip was a big success as I could comfortably spend more time on the water. . . . Have been a huge fan of the Sol pants and the backeddy is a great addition. I love the longer and thinner legs - could even be another 1/2” longer in the tall for me. Fabric is a little heavier than the Sol but still very hydrophobic and great wading pants for the cooler days. Great job Skwala.

Skwala waders are second to one. Not only are they great waders but the customer service that comes along with the purchase is amazing. Had the RS waders for about 2 years and the left booty starting leaking. Things happen. I reached out to skwala and they responded same day, sent my waders in, and they replaced them free of charge. I am a 39 year old female who was recently diagnosed with stage 2b melanoma. Finding good quality spf clothes has been a challenge. I was talking with my outdoor loving uncle who recommended the sol line and I ordered the light weight hoodie and love it!! Game changer for staying safe in the sun! I only wish there were more color options or even better yet a women’s line!
