Excellent slicker brush - got more hair off my choc lab than the furminator - although I still use both. The slicker brush was better at discovering tough little matting areas. I also got the comb set for a full grooming plan for choc lab and my 4 kitties (including a long hair). Slicker brush is gentler than the furminator and seems to stimulate my dogs skin too.
