Quite simply the best coffee beans ever. I was worried the tariffs would cause me to lose my favorite coffee, but the new shipping system made the delivery as smooth and fast as ever. I re-ordered one week ago and my package arrived today. First thing my UPS driver asked was “This has to be coffee, and it smells amazing!” He wrote down the information to order! Amazing coffee

I have been buying from them for many, many years. The price increases of late have made me look for another supplier. They cannot justify the last increase. Gas is down, goods are down or steady and green bean has held for the last year. So that means Labor or profit. If profit they are in the wrong business. If labor, they need to find a way to offset it because no company regardless of product will accept a price increase based on labor increase. I predict they will be out of business by the middle of 2026. 1 pound of most any green bean excluding the high-end Kona and Blue Mountain should go for 15 bucks a pound and most people are trying to sell 12 oz for 20 bucks or higher. The Kona i purchased was not Kona or it was some uncertified plantation selling it as Kona. It was most likely Costa Rican, or Papua New Guinea. Years ago, they were being sold as Kona and there was a big controversy. I purchased Kona Extra Fancy, and I assure you in my opinion, it was NOT KONA EXTRA FANCY. I owned a coffee company for 15 years, so I know coffee.

At this point, I suspect I’ve ordered at least 200 pounds of coffee from gold star. I prefer the Kona. It is absolutely fantastic. The shipments are prompt, the ordering easy and efficient, and the customer service terrific. I love the freebies they throw in, even when I fail to include the “free stuff” promotional code. Finally, the coffee is so good, I don’t even give a second’s thought to the impacts of our misguided trade tariffs. Well done Gold Star! Gold Star for you!
