I love the soaps, especially Chaya's Hope. A forgotten bonus is the lovely way the mailbox spells upon opening when when the parcel arrives. Generously, an extra bar of holiday soap was included. Unexpected delights like that make supported a business like this even more of a pleasure. I may not be local, but I need soap and these products are one of few that my sensitive skin tolerates. About 6 months ago my hair was falling out in mass quantities. Then I discovered this product at my local coffee shop. These product contained something different - sulfates replaced by coconut compounds. Within 2 weeks the hair stopped falling out. It stopped the itchy feeling. Love this company! Every single product is of the highest quality and performs beautifully. I personally love the Dark Lavender Hand and Body Lotion-have tried lotions by other companies but none compare to Avital's. In this house, we depend on the soothing power of the Recover Bee Body Oil with Arnica Extract and essential oils. Relieves our achey backs, knees, necks, whatever--even an occasional ingrown toenail feels better with that stuff rubbed in!! Also love the body butters, Beekeeper's Buddy, All Purpose Balm. The shampoo and conditioner bars work great and make your hair feel clean, soft and smell lovely. P.S. Love the mini samples we get with our orders, too! This product was purchased at my local coffee shop. My hair had been falling out by the handful and I was stressed. After trying both the shampoo and conditioner - after 2 weeks the hair stopped falling out and I stopped itching. I noted the sulfates were derived from coconut not the typical sodium laurel sulfate in most other products. Whatever the difference - I am hooked on these products.

These are so fragrant that after a bath, I leave the water in the tub for at least a day, because my whole bathroom and bedroom will continue to smell wonderful in the most delicate way. In addition, these fizzies are actually skin softeners. A "fizzy" sounds frivolous; it doesn't capture the healing and soothing effect. A hot bath is one of my winter pleasures but I have to be careful not to dry out my skin. One Avital bath lozenge solves the problem. By the way, I buy these at the Equal Rights Heritage Center in Auburn at their Taste of NY store. Very convenient. (This is the first product review I have ever written.)

Okay, so I discovered Avital's Apiaries three years ago when I was looking for all-natural shampoo. I wound up finding A LOT more than just all-natural shampoo and conditioner bars. I found lotion, soap, all-in-one bars.... and all in a variety of fun scents to please the nostrils. Good for your skin, good for your hair, and good for the environment. Also many thanks to the honeybees for all their hard work.

These products are fantastic. I bought a bath bomb while I was visiting in the area and forgot about it. When I used it - I got online and immediately ordered more! And some lotion as well. Met personnel at a fall festival in Ithaca. She was extremely attentive and described the products which use natural ingredients and are formulated with the environment in mind, not to mention your skin and hair. I love the whipped body cream. Great smells. Fab texture. I also got shower steamers, but thought the smell was not strong enough.
