These shears are fantastic, high quality, and you can get what you need in a reasonable price range. However, the shining star is their trained sharpener Carlton Whitaker. He is such a kind soul and you can tell he's passionate about supporting our industry by providing a much needed service. He is an excellent sharpener with tons of experience and knowledge, he is the first sharpener I have gone to twice, and I'm so glad to have found someone I trust with my shears. I would recommend his services to anyone!

Just received my first pair of shark fin shears and they are amazing! They cut like butter! I’m recommending them to all the stylist at my salon!

I own the professional plus super swivel and the double shark swivel. I loved them both and use them faithfully. I decide to see what the deal was with Damascus and shark fin was the brand I trusted. All I can say is I don’t know if I’ll ever use my professional plus or my double shark again. These Damascus cut like a laser. I kid you not. Now I have to save up for a second pair. I seriously don’t know that I’ll use either of the other two.

I’ve had the same shears since hair school (7yrs) and finally decided to upgrade and my Double Shark’s are AMAZING!! I can definitely tell a difference in my haircuts, they cut like butter especially with slide cutting. These will forever be my favorite shears!! I searched around for so long trying to find the right company to go with and I’m SO HAPPY I chose Shark Fin🩵 I will definitely be making another purchase soon for texturizers and a razor!

Once you go swivel shear you never go back. Bought at Armstrong McCall world hair fair. VP of the company sold them to me. He measured my hand so I got the right length so you don't nip yourself between your fingers. Also layered up the finger inserts so it fit perfectly to my fingers. Never had that awkward getting use to new shears and didn't cut myself at all. Y'all I'm telling you they are the best!!

I put a lot of time into searching different shears throughout my time at school. I got my license at 30 so I was really doing the research into longevity especially due to already having arthritis. I finally was able to purchase my first pair about a month ago. I've had toni and guy shears, a rusk swivel shear, and Olivia garden shears so far. These shears are more comfortable than I could have imagined. Having a company that does a lifetime warranty/replacement at a fraction of the original cost was a very big component to my purchase as well especially as a beginner with the cost. I purchased the super swivel titanium in blue with a black gem turn piece. I have to say cutting with them and palming them came so naturally. The offset and size of the thumb and ring finger have guaranteed that my shears are not open when trying to take a section which was a big issue for me with every other shear I've owned. The super swivel is beyond expectations as well. I noticed the first cut I did with the super swivel shears were so effortless, regular swivel shears don't even compare when it comes to maneuverability and comfortability. I also purchased with the holiday deals still in effect so I did get a stainless steel 30t swivel shear and a black feathering razor. The texturing shears are magical especially with regard to blending any side and back fade. The feathering razor cuts incredibly well and I've been utilizing them in almost every cut that involves a short fade to control cowlicks by combing in the direction of the hair pattern followed by the razor. I am so impressed with the educational videos as well. I had no clue what finger sizing rings were for, so until I purchased these pairs I never had them on my shears and I would have to stop and pull my knuckles out of my shears to comb and grab a section. I was unaware of how to properly tension my shears, that oiling the blades were necessary at the end of disinfecting of each cut, and weekly cleaning and oiling was...

I had ordered the wrong scissors and they kindly and quickly exchanged them for the correct scissors. What awesome customer service, will defiantly recommend!!

Still waiting on a swivel medalist, but otherwise, Sharkfin has been fantastic!! The shears cut like butter (have never used the medalist as I want the swivels, though I've had them for months). I use the platinum and the great whites. Can't work without them!!

I love my shears! I am so glad they have a payment program because it enabled me to afford the shears. The swivel helps me when cutting because I sometimes get carpel tunnel. They have excellent customer service. If you are looking for great quality shears with a great company, look no further! I would definitely purchase them again.

I've been using the same set of shears for 12 years, and there's nothing wrong with them, so initially deciding to get a new set made me a bit uneasy. When I found sharkfin that unease was settled by their abundance of free education, variety of options and price point. I was even a bit cheeky when I ordered and asked for a different texture shear than what was included in the promotion and not only did they accommodate me, but threw in 2 extra shears, all with a swivel thumb, for free! To top it off, they let you make payments according to your budget so you don't have to be overwhelmed. So glad I finally did it!

I got the goldline curved shears and I absolutely loved them. Lightweight perfect finger fit. Just great shears. Unfortunately after a month of using them the tips just stopped cutting. But have no fear, I called customer service and they were incredibly helpful and are making it right! They have definitely earned a customer for life!

Excellent to cut with and my hands are never sore with these shears. They are worth every cent in the long run. I have used my double shark shears now for 2 years and have loved them. And so much I’m am getting another pair today so I have a backup and can get my other double sharks sharpened. The control these shears have is amazing I would recommend them to anyone in the hair industry.
