I normally shop at Amazon, but this time, I was unable to find a NEMA 1-15P power cords of the length I needed, in the quantity I needed. Everyone selling on Amazon shamelessly pushes non-polarized plugs under the title of NEMA 1-15P. I had to turn somewhere els and found a happy ending here.

I got this extension cable
I got this extension cable so that I could play PC games with a controller easier, and with more distance between me and the monitor. So far it's working exactly as intended :) the cable itself is a bit thicker than some out there, which I like because less chance of it breaking or getting bent out of shape. I'm not one of those 'have to have it tomorrow' impatient types, and so the shipping time was alright (about a week?)
