I think it would work flawlessly with 2 full computers. In my situation I am using with a computer on one side and a PC expanion on the other. It was inconsistent. Lock up and reboot. I suspect that the PC expanion sided did not have enough amp, just guessing. there is a power plug on one end of the unit. when connected to the comp0uter it read 5v so I ordered a usb to plug with same polarity. I plunged it into a USB charging block andit seems to work better. Its not perfect , no KVMs seem to be with all the power savers etc but we go days without a reboot at this time. DC
