I’ve tried so many Korean skincare products that I decided it was finally time to venture into Japanese skincare. This is the second Japanese brand I’ve explored, and I have to say I’m completely in love. SEKKISEI's Emulsion and Emulsion Enriched are both absolutely incredible. If you have dry skin like I do, you’re going to adore these. The Emulsion is lightweight yet deeply hydrating. It sinks beautifully into the skin without any heaviness. The Emulsion Enriched has a richer texture, but it still feels light and breathable, making it perfect for both humid and dry Florida days. What I truly appreciate is how versatile they are. On busy mornings, I’ll just apply the Emulsion Enriched and sunscreen, and that’s enough to keep my skin hydrated all day. It’s that good. No tightness, no flakes, just smooth, soft, plump skin. Japanese emulsions really focus on hydration, and it shows. I’ve also tried another Japanese product labeled as a "milk" which is similar to an emulsion and it was equally amazing. The formulas may vary in name, but the quality is unmatched. Japanese skincare just feels luxurious. From the formulas to the elegant packaging, everything is thoughtfully crafted. If you’re a fan of Korean skincare, trust me you’re going to fall head over heels for Japanese skincare. In my personal opinion, it even feels a bit more advanced. Of course, I still love my Korean staples, but discovering Japanese brands like SEKKISEI has opened up a whole new world of skincare indulgence.
