I placed a small order of 6 animal figurines. The website throughout offered a promo of “free shipping on Orders over $80”. I placed an order that had a pre-tax total of $84. Erroneously, I believed the shipping to be covered and completed the transaction using ApplePay. I then discovered that Safari Ltd. had hit me for a $55 ground shipping fee. I wrote an email to the company within 4 minutes of placing that order indicating my circumstances and that the site had claimed shipping was free. I received a response about 2 days later that said the company will not cancel the order and that I can return the items for refund when I receive them. Very disappointing that I would get brushed off like this considering the other reviews were so positive on customer service. I have the clear indication my business is not wanted The fact the website claimed free shipping was never addressed in the response I received. I also find the shipping cost excessive. $55 for ground shipping of 5 small figurines is predatory and not in line with even retail shipping fees. This is too bad. This was our first attempt to move away from Schleich. Lesson learned. Stay with the company that offers excellent customer service. Avoid Safari Ltd if relying on their claimed free shipping or need responsive customer service.

I appreciate everything about this company…I would shop here anytime. I placed an order for a Lion but was sent a horse instead. I contacted Safari via email and within 2 days they sent the correct animal. The person I corresponded with was super personable and friendly. Quite a rarity. Plus the animals were extremely well made and durable. 5 stars for this company!

I am so impressed with the quality of these animals! Today, you expect so many things to be junk and these most certainly are not! I was so surprised by the detail of the eyes. And even the nostrils have shiny paint so they look wet. Very high quality and for an extremely reasonable price.

Delivery was fast (considering that it was 11 days before Christmas), figurines came individually bagged and unharmed in a package that arrived well packed.
