I am only a few chapters in but I am amazed at how much information has been covered. There is items covered that I never thought of that has to be done. I don't see how anyone without prior knowledge of the subject could get approved without a lengthy trial and error. I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to get their FFL.

Overall great experience

Overall, I'm very happy with the course. It is very informative and walked me through the steps of the application easily. One thing I think could be improved is the process explaining the ITAR exemptions earlier before deciding what FFI to choose. An explanation of why is I'm a home Based FFL wanting to do some upgrades on AR's ,mounting scopes ,Non machining Accessories. etc. The initial description of types of ffl's. was vague on the ITAR requirements. This made me second-guess Getting the type 7 and consider getting a type 1 which is not exactly what I was wanting to do. Being a home based F. F. L and just starting up the 2250 fee Is a large hurdle for a small business just starting, which probably won't see profit in its first year. I did a quick Google search on a ITAR And it was somewhat unclear but I was leaning towards a type one To avoid the possibility of the registration fee. Luckily I decided to read ahead and get a better understanding of everything before I submitted my FFL application. In doing that I found the ITAR section very informative and Explaind the exemptions well to where I felt comfortable applying for a type 7. I feel like this information could be moved towards the beginning of the course, so people deciding their FFL can have a better understanding of what to choose before submitting the application. One other thing is I was interested after taking the course of enrolling in the compliance course. I like how reasonably priced all of the courses are. But the compliance course is a lot higher in price. For a home based FFL starting out it makes you Second, guess if its Worth investing close to $300. I know it's a 100 plus lessons But maybe it could be added into a bundle deal with becoming an FFL Like the SoT FFl bundle. In summary, I'm happy I found the course. It helped to navigate the application process And was very informative. Thank you Bryan Baker

The course is great. Very informative. The one area that is currently preventing me from submitting my application is finding a location. I know that every state/area is different but any help in this area would be appreciated. People are not always receptive to this line of business.

Exactly what I needed.

Great information and product!

The FFL “license” training was great. The constant push to sign up for the Compliance training at times feels a little bit too much like a “bait and switch”. I get promoting your other services but a couple times I was probably 1 more sentence away from fully understanding something and got hit with the “if you’d like to know more, pay us $250 vs the $40 we got you on the hook for already”. Just felt a bit much.

My business ideas are still in the development stage. This course and very informative website has helped me make some very important decisions. I have not applied for an FFL yet but when I trip that switch, I will most definitely be prepared. Rocket FFL is saving me so much time with not having to scour the Internet for information that could point me in the wrong direction. I find it all in one place through very knowledgeable and experienced people. Thank you!
