Looked thin when I took them out of the package and I wasn't sure they'd do much. Then I used them. The D3O padding is the real deal. It feels soft and flexible when you're just holding it, but it firms up the moment it takes impact — so you get proper protection without the bulk you'd normally need for it. Half an inch doesn't sound like a lot until you realize it's doing more work than twice that much foam. They feel great on. The neoprene is comfortable against the skin, breathes well, and they stay put once you wrap over them. No sliding around mid-session. Don't judge these on first impression like I did. They're thin for a reason, and it works. Easy recommendation if you want extra knuckle protection without turning your hands into mitts.

When I tried them on first, the were very stiff and felt narrow. I thought I should have sized up. But while doing drills at home, the boots felt more comfortable. I'm gliding in them! Especially at 240 lbs bodyweight, I don't think I'll have to worry about twisting my knees and hurting them in these boots. Very smooth!

Excellent products and customer service

The holes on the headgear did not line up with my ears, even though I bought the size based on my head dimensions. I wish I bought a size larger but its too late to return it. Other than that I like it, its really good quality
