I never write negative reviews, but for how expensive they are and paying $130+ for swimsuit I definitely expect them to last more than 1 year. The material in the waistband completely eroded and my XL turned into a XXXL and is now unwearable. To make it even worse when I emailed the owner the only response he provided was "per policy all sales are final" and regardless of a refund or not he was pithy, short and didn't even apologize about the quality. I am very thorough and research before I buy things so hopefully I can help someone else avoid the same mistake I made and go buy a $30 swimsuit on amazon that has better quality and customer service.

Great quality and soft material. The elastic band is thicker and feels premium than most other swim shorts that I own, including some luxury brands like Moncler. Drawstring is thick and metal accents look nice. Medium size fits as expected for a 30/31 waist.

I ordered a suit for an upcoming vacation but due to a hurricane the mail was delayed and didn’t look like it was going to arrive in time. I emailed customer service and quickly got a response from the president offering to overnight me another one if it still looked like it wouldn’t arrive in time after 24 hours. The next day, he took the initiative to check on the status without me even mentioning it. We agreed to continue to watch it a little longer. Since I was going to have an overnight layover in the city he lived in, he even offered to drop off the suit to my hotel himself and let me mail him the original once I returned home. This was my 5th retromarine bathing suit and you can’t tell the brand new one from the one I got 2 years ago. They don’t fade, they fit great and everyone loves them. Don’t hesitate to buy, you won’t regret it.
