I've used Playtex bottles and liners for over 35 years with all of my foster babies. I wish that I could buy them in the stores and not have to pay for the shipping or hope that I've ordered them soon enough so I don't run out.

Great Product, Very Sanitary
This is such a great invention. With my other kids I used normal bottles, and always worried about cleaning at the bottom of the bottles very well. Also I am not sure if it was the formula we used but the bottles inside would always become greasy. With this product you just take a insert out wash the bottle from top and insert brush in the bottom also, clean the nipple and you are good to go. I was worried about buying the inserts and what if I ran out what would we use, but the boxes of inserts last awhile especially if you buy 3 or 4 at a time. Also if you like to get the most bang for your buck, I believe the 4 oz bottles are useless you can buy the 8 oz bottles and use the 4 oz inserts. My son only used the 4 oz for maybe 2 months and I still had inserts so I started making 2 bottles back to back. Also you can always replace the nipples.

Exactly what we needed
Our 3 month old combo feeds so we are very picky about our bottles. We chose to try disposable liners right now to save water/money. Our water usage this month determines our next few months water bills. If you know, you know! And we wash/sanitize a LOT of bottles! We went with the 8oz bottle because it will grow with his appetite. Will take 4oz and 8oz liners. He latched to the nipple with no problem (which can be a problem if baby is also BF). You fill them up like normal (yes, I even filled a different bottle first and then poured into bag to make sure measurements were correct with the wrinkled liners) and then I take the end of our bottle brush and shove it into the end of the bottle and push out as much air as I can. When baby is done you toss the liner and wash or wipe the nipple with bottle wipes. Super easy! No leaking at all and the liners are thin but tough. No bags have broken while I was forcefully shoving air out of them. At the end of the day I throw the nipples and nipple rings into a sterilizer bag for 3 minutes and my bottle washing for the day is done. And perfect for travel or a day out if you get the bottle cleaner wipes too. Playtex Baby and Tommee Tippee have made our feeding journey very easy =).

Nice quality and love the drop in bags
Very nice quality with the cool drop in bags. The only issue i had is the opening where u need to put ur fingers in to squeeze the air out has a lip on it that comes into the bottle making the opening hard to get ur fingers in and it is a rough plastic so it doesnt feel good on ur fingers.

Baby loved the bottles! So did I!
I'm a first time mom in my late 30s. I was very overwhelmed by bottle choices and have a spouse that is very picky about plastic and the baby. My parents said I got Playtex bottles as a baby. I remember they had the plastic bag. They were harder to find but still available at Target and Walmart so I bought 12 total small ones and 12 total large ones. I hated the cellophane feels of the disposable pouches and bought the silicone pods. I actually used the silicone pods as the refrigerator storage for what I pumped with Willow pumps. One set of silicone pods had a weird smell and I returned them, the rest were fine and had the same smell as the bottle nipples and various pacifiers we used. If stored loose the pods were a leak risk only if the where squeezed and unthreaded/detached the snug screw on lid. They do fantastic when stored in their bottle shell. With this system the milk only touches silicone. The plastic nipple ring and plastic bottle shell are just framing. If you use the pods the bottle volumes are less than 4oz and 8oz. The large pods only hold 6oz so you can't use the bottle side markings which are calibrated for the disposable bags. Our daughter never had any gas issues. The bottles are almost comically large but extremely light. As she's gotten older the baby likes to hold the rim at the bottom of support (the bottom of the plastic bottle is open/hollow). The closest system I've seen is the Boon bottles. These bottles basically disappeared after I bought mine in late 2021/early 2022. They'd been owned by Angelcare but someone else owns them now. The prices (especially the pods!) are definitely higher than what I got them for a few years ago but I feel they are worth it if you can find them. Our 18 month old is finally going to sippy cups but still loves her bottles. They've held up well through daily dishwashing and just few of the plastic bottle outer parts have slight cracks from when she football throws the. A few plastic bottle lids, pod lids,...
