Coming from the Pulse V, which I absolutely love, I was skeptical at first with the X’s elongated shape. It took a few games to adjust to the new shape, which helped me hyper focus on the sweet spot. I felt the difference in power but also felt it was slower to move at the kitchen when trying to block drives and speed ups. However, adding a Slyce cap changed the balance and helped increase my hand speed dramatically. I also added 3 gram tungsten strips at the 4 and 8 o’clock positions in order to increase the stability and twist weight. With the modifications, I believe this is the best paddle I’ve used so far. Bravo, Apes for another great product 👏🏼

Great paddle and superlative customer experience. Strong recommend to anyone considering them.

Easy to do business with. I tried the Pulse X, having used and loved the Pulse S. The X was a bit head heavy for me so exchanged for another S and they made it super easy.

Very predictable paddle. The ball goes where I think it should be going. Very few odd shots or weird pops off the paddle. I like to add some weight to the lower elbows for a little more weight.

Great for dinking and sneaky power.

Shipping takes forever.
