Can this toothpaste be used on diabetic dogs and if so, can it help if teeth have never been cleaned by vet?

It took a few weeks, and a lot of patience, but my two adult German Shepherd Dogs are starting to let me brush their teeth twice a day for more than a few seconds. I know I will get to a proper brushing in time; I wish I had started on them as puppies. My dogs love the product itself, they just resist the toothbrush but I'm being gentle but insistent and it's working. I save a treat for the end, a treat without a lot of carbohydrates or sugars, to reward them and the bribe is working. I think this product is fantastic and I tried a lot of doggie toothpastes before I found this one which I like the best.

Please take the Xylitol out of this toothpaste Which is highly toxic to dogs. I don’t understand why you have to use this ingredient?

My 5 yea old Yorkie is super picky and doesn’t like you all in face .. brushing her teeth Roth this toothpaste has made it extreme easy and she loves the taste London Broil . Her breath smelled better immediately and it only continues to get better it’s only been 3 days I hardly ever write review but some ppl are skeptical about what they use on their fur baby’s like myself and I highly recommended I don’t care about the cost it’s worth it!!!

This isn't generally good. It's amazing...3 dogs with visible issues improved in 3 days..getting better and almost gone....they will definitely have a longer life...border collie, shitzu and Chihuahua have all got healthy gums and clean teeth.

When I first adopted my pet from a pet rescue, I noticed his gums bled the first time he played with a little pet toy. I bought Petsmile toothpaste. Shortly after using it, his teeth started to look cleaner and no more bleeding gums. Today, after having my dog for 3 years, I am amazed at how much more healthy his gums are and his teeth are so much cleaner. I can actually see white teeth. He doesn't mind the brushing. Just received, so far my dog likes it! It's not smelly, and has a great consistency! Love the product.. the shipping was not as good however, it arrived 4 days after the original arrival date, and changed several times throughout the shipping process. Order with plenty of spare time.

Petsmile London Broil is the only toothpaste my dog likes; in fact she likes it so much, she tries to lick the toothbrush after we are done brushing. I am really into natural remedies and actually contacted Petsmile to ask about a couple of the ingredients which concerned me. Wow, I was floored by the response, they took my question seriously, acknowledged my concern and provided a detailed response from their chemist. I've been brushing my two dog's teeth with Petsmile for quite a few years now and it really makes a difference in their teeth. They receive many compliments from their vets on their teeth. Additionally, their breath doesn't smell which is wonderful too.

We used a toothpaste purchased from Chewy without knowing anything about it. On our last trip for our 17 month old standard poodles check up, our vet told us about the VOHC designation. We feel better about using this product rather some other random product.

We were referred by our Oral Surgeon Vet to start to use this on our pet Ty's teeth and it really does work and he loved it. However, he passed away due to other circumstances and we now have two sweet new cats that are brother and sister, Mia and Diego. This was recommended to me by a doggy dental specialist about 6 yrs ago for my now 7 yr old chihuahua. Chi’s are known to suffer from bad teeth but my girl has been using petsmile her whole life and has excellent teeth. Never needed any pulled. She gets her teeth cleaned from the vet every 18 months and I home clean out her mouth after every meal and put the toothpaste in. I also use a toothbrush after last meal of the day. I wish petsmile offered pet toothbrushes. My dog has a tiny mouth so I ended up using a cat toothbrush for her but the bristle quality isnt like the Supersmile ones for people. Love Petsmile. Daisy loves the new chicken flavor too! We use chicken for after lunch cleaning And london broil flavor before bed. Thanks petsmile!!!

My dog loves the taste and waits patiently while I apply. According to the vet his teeth are clean with no tarter buildup. Love the fact it has no harmeful ingredients and is approved by VOC.

I've been using Petsmile toothpaste on my two dogs for years and think it does a great job. I like the consistency of the new flavored paste because it's creamier and thus is easier to squeeze out of the tube.

My girls absolutely love this tooth paste. I make it a part of our nightly routine before we go to bed. All I have to do is pick up the tube and they are sitting at my feet ready to brush their teeth.
