Unbelievable product. I took the entry kit down a Grand Canyon rafting trip for 8 days. It was exposed to sand, tons of forceful rapids, extreme heat and tough terrain. We were BLOWN AWAY. It was slightly difficult to see footage on my camera screen while filming, something I knew would be the case with the Entry Kit. Regardless, the shots were very clear and in focus. Getting the kit on and off with one person was not easy, but with the help of a friend, we got it down quickly. A surprising element was that my cameras (Canon T3i Rebel) was able to pick up audio through the Outex. A huge plus. Everyone was curious about the case and the river guides were impressed. They see a lot of "water proof" cameras start river trips, but not a lot finish. High def video of rapid POV doesn't seem to exist online from the Grand Canyon. Because I had Outex, I'll be able to make documentary with the footage, that wouldn't be possible without this product. My only regret is not springing for the Pro Kit, but if you are a casual photographer or cameraman the entry kit will not disappoint.

I went all out and ordered both the regular skin and the flash skin. I had so much trouble figuring out how to attach the clamp to my RF10-20mm lens that has a built in hood. Finally got it sorted. Now it's easy. Absolutely love this. Having fun with my son and dogs. Looking forward to more exciting adventures with it.

I received plenty of support by phone to choose the right Outex product for my camera and lens. My first experience with underwater photography was great! The only thing that could be improved are the how-to videos. It’s fine when things go exactly as planned, but I had trouble when pieces came apart and I couldn’t see how they fit back together. I ended up finding other users on YouTube, not videos or documentation from Outex.

Solid option for professional photographers who don’t spend a ton of time in the water but need a great modular option to fill in those gaps when 5k is too much for a housing to justify.

Overall, this is an amazing product that worked perfectly for me on a kayaking trip with the manatees. I took it on this trip to really give it a run in preparation for a project that will have me shooting in backcountry conditions with various degrees of mud, dirt, rain, and water crossings. After shoving my camera shoulder-deep into the river for a whole day, I do not doubt that this case will make sure my camera survives the journey. That being said, I have two main complaints. The back glass is not as adjustable as advertised. It was offset from my viewscreen to a degree that I was largely shooting blind, even above water, and only adjusted in the wrong direction. (I shoot Nikon Z series cameras where the preview screen is left offset) This could be user error, but I don't see how. My second complaint would be the instructional videos. They assume you know what each part is before you start assembling the case, and don't show you at all how the back glass is supposed to attach. They seemed to mostly discuss the versatility of the product and only show how to put it together for the first time as an afterthought. This led to a pretty clunky first install for me, having never used a submersible case before. Overall, I would still recommend this product, especially as a more packable option for longer treks. It would be nice to have an intro-kit back glass option that swings right AND left to lock into place over multiple style viewfinders, though.

Worked just as described! Purchased the cover with the tripod ring. And now I can attach an action camera to allow me to make videos during the shoot! Everything is well protected and accessible.

I’ve been using outex for a few years and love the gear. I do want to upgrade to hard housing now Ive got the bug for surf photography but these are great. The customer service is also next level. Super quick to reply and posted out replacement kit from LA to the phillipines with in a week. Can’t fault the team at outex at all.

No idea why I waited so long to order one of these! Have had multiple housings over the years, but changing systems/lenses always meant new ports or whole housings, but no more! Super friendly pre purchase responses to my queries to help steer me to the right solution. Very quick delivery to the bottom of world (New Zealand). Once in my hands so easy to put together, don't know why I thought it would be trickier! Now so many options with my dual Sony/Nikon systems and can't wait to try tethered shooting in the pool on a tripod, thank you so much guys!
