Fantastic backpack, can fit my poles to the pack and it has two large pockets for my water bottles. It's really comfy and I could hardly tell it was on my back.

I would have liked to know that the nozzle had changed size. Other than that the product is good.

The Osprey Mutant 38 is a phenomenal piece of gear, and I highly recommend it to absolutely anyone who is serious about mountaineering and alpine climbing. First of all, it is mega comfortable—even when loaded to the absolute limit, the suspension system distributes the weight perfectly, and the shoulder straps feel amazing on long, brutal approaches. On top of that, it has tons of gear loops and attachment straps that make securing ice axes, ropes, and hardware incredibly easy and secure. This pack is built like a tank yet remains lightweight. It sits perfectly on the back, integrates seamlessly with a climbing harness, and doesn't restrict movement at all while climbing. For me, this backpack is way more than just a piece of kit—it is a crucial part of my preparation program. I am currently training hard and pushing my limits because my ultimate goal is to summit K2 and Nanga Parbat within the next 3 years. The Mutant 38 has been a massive help during my intense endurance workouts and high-demand mountain treks. If you need a pack that is ultra-comfortable and won’t back down in extreme conditions, look no further. Highly recommended!
