I have three dogs: a Lab, a Great Pyrenees, and a German Shepherd. Which basically means I run a full-time canine nutrition and gastrointestinal monitoring facility out of my house. Let’s start with my Lab. We love him. He loves snacks. A little too much. He was getting… fluffy. Since switching to Open Farm, he’s actually slimming down without acting like he’s being personally victimized by portion control. 10/10 for helping my chunky king find his waistline again. My Great Pyrenees? Professional food protester. She will literally go on strike if she’s bored. I’ve seen toddlers with less attitude. But this food? She has not turned her nose up once. No dramatic sighs. No hunger strikes. We have peace in the kingdom. And then there’s Lady Shepherd. . My high-maintenance queen. Sensitive stomach. Loose stools. Random diarrhea that sends me into a Google spiral at 2 a. m. Skin issues. Trouble keeping weight on. If there’s a symptom, she’s had it. I am not exaggerating when I say I monitor her poop like it’s a science experiment. Since switching to Open Farm, she has improved SO much. She’s gaining healthy weight, her stool is firm (praise be), and her itchy skin is gone. GONE. I haven’t had to panic-text anyone about her digestion in weeks, which is basically a miracle. It was really hard finding one food that worked for all three very different dogs, especially with me being slightly (okay, very) paranoid about their health. But this one has been a win across the board. I was buying it at a local store, but switching to auto-ship has made life so much easier. No last-minute “we’re out of food and it’s 8:57 p. m. ” stress. If you have multiple dogs with different needs and you’re a fellow overthinking dog mom like me this food is worth it. My crew is thriving, and I can finally relax… at least until someone sneezes weird. 😅

I live remotely and really like having this kibble delivered to my residence. I also saved a little by subscribing. My dog seems to enjoy this oven baked recipe and has done well with it.

This is one of the best made "weight" conscious dog foods on the market. Great taste and her poops are good, not too many and not too large. Plenty of protein in this diet. I wish it came in a chicken-free formula, for other members of our canine family have a chicken allergy.
