Disappointed with Onyx Straps. Ordered custom gear just days before their Black Friday sale, and despite proof, they refused a price adjustment. Other companies I’ve shopped with never hesitate in similar situations. Customer service like this really makes you think twice about where you spend your money.

Simple and super useful

These are my first leather lifting straps and I love using them. They're a little on the shorter side but once you get used to it, it doens't hinder in any way. So far the leather has stayed very nice.

Like everything else I have ordered from Onyx, this is beautifully made and a delight to wear. I have never been disappointed by Onyx gear; I wear an Onyx belt and wrist straps for weightlifting. Onyx t-shirts fit beautifully and they are soft and comfortable (and cool).

I bought these Onyx wrist wraps because my wrists were weak. Now they’re strong… but I’m still weak. So basically, the wraps are the athlete, and I’m just the guy attached to them. Snatches used to hurt my wrists. Now they just hurt my feelings. Jerks used to scare my joints. Now they scare the people standing too close. These wraps hold on tight. Like, if my wrists ever go missing, I’d check under these wraps first. They don’t let go. I think one time I tried to take them off, and they said, “Nah, man, we live here now. ” They don’t make me lift more weight, but they make me look like I know what I’m doing. And that’s all I ever wanted. Final thought: Buy these wraps. They’re like insurance for your wrists, except they don’t raise your premium when you fail a lift.

So far they have been a great support for my wrists when doing barbell snatches. I'm hoping this will be the end of wrist rest pain/ discomfort

The material and color are good. And when I can get the straps wrapped around the bar, the grip is great. But they’re a little long and narrow for tear drop straps which means they slip off the wrists easily when trying to wrap for snatches. Might work better with a stitch or two to hold them together closer to the wrist.

Love the quality and care

I love them! My trainer uses your brand and had recommended them to me. Excellent quality! They have greatly improved my grip, and I no longer have hand pain after heavy lifting. As an older adult (65yo) who loves strength training/powerlifting but has some hand issues, your straps will prolong my ability to do what I love.

I strained some muscle in my wrist and thought I wouldn’t be able to lift for the foreseeable future as the genetic straps didn’t give me the proper support. One of my lifting buddies recommended Onyx wrist straps and I’m never using another brand agin. With the support these straps provide I’m able to lift again without pain.
