Love the shoes, hate the laces which seem to stretch out soon after the box is opened. Purchase a second set of Oboz laces for my last pair of Sawtooth shoes but they cost almost as much as the shoes. Perhaps the shoes should come with two sets of laces consistent with the estimated useful life of the shoes!

I had a problem with the lining of my Bridgers being too loose on one boot. The lining folded over and the fold rubbed against my ankle. Oboz replaced the boots with no hesitation. Excellent customer service. Oboz are all I wear; Sawtooth II's and Bridgers.

When I don’t know what the day’s mission will be, I grab my Bozemans. These kicks are like the Millennium Falcon of shoes—maybe not flashy, but they’ll handle anything from business casual meetings to a full-on romp through the woods. In my whole life, I’ve only found one other shoe that could pull that off. I’ve picked up multiple pairs over the years, and I’m genuinely excited to try the new models. If they’re anything like the originals, the Force is definitely strong with them. After 30 years in the military my knees are about as worn out as a stormtrooper’s aim, but these puppies give me the support I need to stay on my feet all day. I wear them year-round—my feet stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Honestly, if Luke had a pair of these on Hoth, he probably wouldn’t have needed that tauntaun.

I went with the OBOZ Sawtooth mids after my long term previous brand became progressively less durable and warm after a series of manufacturer consolidations and my next choice, while comfortable, simply fell apart after six months of regular hiking (week night and weekend days) use in a cold and slightly longer Michigan winter including autumn rain and puddles. I had previously purchased OBOZ hiking shoes and was impressed with-the fit and comfort out of the box, lighter weight, larger toe box, heel support, foot support and overall experience of both feet almost floating. I also liked the shoe laces. I have had the same experience with the OBOZ boots. Specifically, the tread is very strong and supportive, while also light. The boots were slightly stiff out of the box but were well worn in after one five mile hike and regular wearing after one weekend. The OBOZ shoes have worn well and remain comfortable and durable, and I expect the same for the boots. Overall, I have a reasonable a good tradeoff for the price and expect at least a year or more of regular use and I think OBOZ is going to deliver.
