We have been using NutTag GPS to track our cat. It is interesting to see all the places he goes. We can even use the GPS to call him and ask him. The unit has a speaker so he can hear us and return home. Ash who works there has been extremely helpful with any technical support.

It’s robust, weather and rainproof, tracks accurately to within a few metres, lets your loved one call you if they need to and you them. The app could still use some work but there’s a web browser with greater detail and control to adjust settings. Take care when setting how frequently you want the device to update location, frequent updates eg every 10min or less depletes battery quicker. I set mine to 3min and lasted 6x hours with constant movement (has setting to track only when there’s movement to save on power). Fabulous customisable geofence to set alerts when entering and/or exits a specified perimeter. Fall detection with control over sensitivity. Fully customisable alert settings with options to send SOS alerts via email or SMS so even if you miss an SOS call you receive a message with time and coordinates of the device location. Another plus for young children is it’s simplicity of use with just a push button to call preset numbers, the device then calls the 1st number on the list then the next until answered (leaving alert messages for each number called). Also, it’s not an interactive device like a smart watch which no doubt gets more attention and depleted battery, also is simpler in design so fewer things to go wrong than a smart watch. Current smart watch GPS trackers tend to be very bulky and our child wouldn’t wear one due to the brick on her wrist. Thrilled with the Seek Pro, gives us great peace of mind when needed.
