I was a little nervous about ordering fire glass online...I always prefer to see and touch things in person. But the pricing was great, the color came in just as advertised, and it arrived quickly. I'm very pleased with the final result.

I placed an online order for a DeckProtect heat shield. I then received emails informing me of the order and shipping status. I finally received a message telling me that it had been delivered to my home. Only problem is ... I hadn't receive it. When I checked the message traffic for a tracking number, I found that none of the emails contained one. That is when I called and enlisted Sara's support in obtaining the tracking information. Although I understand that the shipping dept. was somewhat slow in getting this number generated, Sara stayed in contact with me regularly and made me feel like an important customer. She is a gem! Over the past few years I've had occasion to be in contact with customer service people in other companies and have been somewhat angered at being mistreated. For instance, I do not think that a customer ought to be doing the legwork to solve a problem caused by the supplier or vendor. If Sara had asked me to call the shipping dept., for example, this would be indicative of what has annoyed me in the past. However, she took it upon herself to handle the situation and stay in touch. And yes, I finally received the product yesterday! A huge "ATTABOY" to Sara and to your company's Customer Service support group!

Our contact experience was very pleasant and helpful. The amount recommended for our fire pit seems to be about 30% more than we felt was needed. We will keep the excess in case of future replacement needs. The reflective glass is very attractive and pleasant to look at whether the fire is burning or not.

The purple fire glass arrived quickly and looks great. Just a caution for anyone choosing purple. It is very dark even after the gas heats them up, so add some clear fire glass as well. It'll be prettier even when it's not in use.

I've bought burner pans, glass beads, fireglass and other items from Blazing Glass in the past - and will probably buy more. The fireglass/beads can be expensive, so I avail myself of sale prices when they are offered.
