I absolutely love all NI instrument products. This one takes a little getting used to. Patterns, while cool, are not really usable for me. So I am mostly in it for the melody sounds and building my own lines to fit what’s in my head. I love the sounds of the various bass instruments in this library. Thank you.

Cooking with Saffron isn't just good, it's great! Native Instruments Scene Series propels tonic textures that are "Glassy and Brassy". It's a top end frequency layering tool in my workflow and it gives you the type of tension filled icing you need to complete a musical idea. The on board effects and XY functionality gives composers a plethora of sound sculpting variations and idea generation. The controls are easy to use, and seem limited but you can't fall victim to just playing. Using the mod-wheel, after touch and macros are where you'll get the most out of this product. The price is absolutely insane for the sound quality to get. I recommend this for beginning and intermidiate sound designers and composers.
