This colony is a beauty. It was a birthday gift for my husband and our first ant colony. Shipping was fast and they were packaged perfectly. Arrived alive and in perfect condition. The queen came in perfect condition with a batch of eggs and no delays in shipping, the only thing i disliked was the test tube, its a bit short so i had to move the heat cable around to find the perfect spot, over all i had a really simple time with ordering and receiving this beauty of a ant species

All queens alive and well with what looked like only a couple workers doa. There's at least 4 live. Love the activity!

So we had a little trouble with the shipping, was only supposed to take 3 to 4 days, ended up being 23 days! All I can say is I never expected my queen to survive but to my surprise she was still kicking. Thanks Nate and crew that packaging held up through below zero temps

I'm very impressed with the starter nest and the instructions that came with it. It's pretty unique and high quality. You can tell they care about their customers. I was so happy when I opened the box and I can't wait to move my ants in.

Ordered a queen Lasius brevicornis, and she arrived healthy and active with several eggs in a clean vial. The packaging was secure and professional, and the included care guide was super helpful. Great experience overall!

This bundle was everything i needed for my kid to jump into ant keeping the right way for the long term. It has just about everything you need and i never would have known i needed some of this until used had it. MY ANTICS thank you so much for making my kids christmas hyped!

Most people don't come back to write a review but it feels necessary to write one because of the great care that was given to the ants. First of all, it was easy to find the ants for me with a good price and care level. When I bought them it was a fast delivery from New York to Texas in the winter. Opening the package was a little scary with the thought they froze on the way here but they pulled through with the heat pad provided. I had to let them sit in a room temperature room for 12 hours for them to wake up from their mini hibernation and when they did they were hungry. I feed them the honey provided as well as a tiny piece of a hornworm I cut up and they enjoyed the meal. Overall, it was a great purchase and I'm happy to see how this colony grows.

Got my queen today and she even had her first 2 workers hatch on the trip over. The girls are pure yellow it's amazing, Thanks my antics there is no other shop ide rather be!

So for my son's 5th birthday present I got him a little ant farm. Plus ants (Camponotus Discolor) from here a good keeper, over the ones on Amazon. And they are pretty cool to watch I hope soon the queen will expand and gain more workers over time. I'm hoping these ants last a few years as well. I like that the ants are very attentive to the queen
