Murphy Industrial offers the best price I could find on the internet for this Laclede chain and lock security kit. This 3/8 inch chain is heavy and thick. It is just the right size to even use as a wheel lock on my 5x10 utility trailer. The Laclede lock is pretty beefy. Bolt cutters will not break the shackle because the chain links will cover it up. Check other vendors on the internet for this security kit and you will see you save quite a bit by buying this from Murphy Industrial. Shipping is pretty darn fast. I ordered Thursday evening after hours and received the package Monday evening.

This is the best price for this security kit. I searched many sellers on the internet and Murphy Industrial offers the best price. You will pay a little over a hundred dollars if you buy elsewhere because other sellers charge for shipping and they do not offer the 10 percent discount. I only paid a little over 83 dollars after the discount was applied to my order. The chain is very robust. The 3/8 inch size is perfect for utility trailers. It is just small enough to go through the holes in the rim in order to lock your tire. You can just chain the trailer to a secure post if you already use a wheel lock. The Laclede lock is heavy duty. Bolt cutters won't be able to access the locking pin because the chain links will be in the way. This kit is a bargain. Its actually a steal for the customer. I say get the kit because you get a huge discount on the lock. You will pay 60 dollars if you just buy the lock alone. You can always upgrade to a higher priced lock if you feel another lock offered by Murphy Industrial is better. I ordered the security kit Thursday evening after hours and received the package late Monday afternoon. Shipping is pretty fast.
