Scope will not zero. No turret adjustment

Hi. scope has been mounted...put target up at 50 yards at range, but very cloudy day...hard to see dot...after firing 30, 40 rds. of 22lr, I gave it up...will wait for sunshine to evaluate...but overall i'm liking the 8x32...the variable is better than a straight power 32, 36, etc....
