I have been buying these belts for years as Christmas gifts, gifts for whatever occasion. I really loved the story, design and simpleness. I currently own 5 of these belts and wearing them every day until I noticed one of my belts FLAKING. My black "Genuine Leather" was breaking down. Black flakes started appearing all over my pants and I couldn't figure out what these black particles were. I had removed my black leather belt and noticed that the outer layer of the belt is plastic coating like vinyl of some sort. I bought these belts due to the fact that I wanted to own a quality leather belt that would never wear out over time. But I was wrong! It's a cheap vinyl application that adheres to the structure of the belt. Now my black belt is not black any longer and looks like something I bought at KMart back in the day. I'm really disappointed with the quality and it failed the mission!

Leather keeps peeling away and I have to keep cutting the belt down.

I love every aspect of this belt with its design and functionality. I am disappointed however the belt is cracked at the end of the adjustment notches on the inside of the belt. The belt has never been folded and is always stored in a circular/rolled position. Puzzling! Tried to upload pic but it wouldn’t work

I wore this belt with a shirt and tie to work like most. I alternated between wearing this belt and another one of a different brand in order to allow the leather to rest and extend the life of both belts. After just a year of wearing the belt, I was walking down a hallway when the belt split into 3 pieces. All of the threads holding it together unraveled and tore. I am very disappointed in this belt considering the cost and how long it lasted. I have the picture of the pieces of the belt to prove it.

At first, I was wild about the buckle innovation and loved the 1/4" adjust ability. I bought 1 belt, then 2 more. After a few dozen uses, the buckle release pin has come apart and now every time I wear it, it's a fight to get the thing off. Called customer service and was told because I don't have a proof of purchase, they won't do anything. Who keeps receipts for a year or more? And they mysteriously can't find a record of my purchase and there's no product code stamped on my buckle.

I love the functionality of Mission belts, but after just over a year of normal wear (a couple times a week) the finish on the buckle wears off and starts showing the cheaper metal underneath as shown in these pictures http://imgur.com/a/0N8VKLA

I’ve owned two Mission belts, both have shredded where the belt clips into the buckle. Due to this shredding and necessary trimming to get the buckle to grasp the belt, the belts no longer fit. The concept is really great but the quality is less than desired. Mission replaced the first belt but would not honor their warranty for the second belt. It is very disappointing that this manufacturer will not stand behind their product. I will nolonger and would not suggest that any one buy this product. They do not stand behind their product.

This is the best belt I have ever owned. It has a perfect fit ever time you wear it. The highest quality of leather and the ability to shorten it is very ingenious. Mission Belt is a HOMERUN! You'll love it!!

My husband only has one functioning arm and always struggled with belts. We saw this on Shark Tank and ordered - at least once a week he comments on what a great purchase this was and what a help it is to his getting dressed. It is not only a convenience but a well made, good looking product - we highly recommend these belts.

I can't say enough, I paid for overnight shipping and I found out my order got diverted. Immediately, with no hesitation, Gillian said she would send another complete order out (3 Belts) at no charge. She apologized repeatedly and told me to keep both orders of belts plus she threw in a extra USC buckle. The belts are awesome and I can't say enough about this company. I only wish there were more companies like Mission Belt. They have set the bar high and I will continue to be a positive advocate for this company. You can't go wrong buying from this company.
