I typically wear size 9D in Red Wings wearing double socks. Brannock size 8. 5 wide. I ordered 8. 5 in the Brady Cap Toe and found them true to size. Very roomy toe box and even more around the ankle with single pair of socks. I have to really lace these puppies up tight. I think I ordered the right size as I think an 8 would have been too short in length and my toes would feel bunched up. I would order true to size. Not a narrow shoe at all even though the toe box looks narrow like a dress shoe.

My FB feed was swamped with pitches for boots. My Blunstone's soles had deteriorated and could not be replaced. These Milwaukees looked good to me and the clincher was the vetry competitaive pricing. They look like they CAN be resoled to boot.
