When they arrived I was firstly surprised by the weight of the sheets - they seemed really heavy compared to the Egyptian cotton ones I have used in the past. Next, I thought they'd made a mistake and sent me silk sheets - they looked and felt like silk. So soft and smooth. Had them washed and on the bed that night. Lovely to sleep in. Just as I've read, bamboo sheets are cooler than cotton and seem to be warmer than cotton, now that the temperature is starting to drop. And the sateen weave is glorious. They wash up well, though slow to dry on the line. I've had them in the drier on Warm and that's worked fine. I'm now an advocate. Highly recommended!
