As a professional artist, I deal with light and how it effects images every day. I'm always paying attention to brightness, contrast, hues, tints- all that stuff. I didn't realize what I was missing until I tried on a pair of the Evolution shades. Wow. Living full time at high altitude, protecting my second-most valuable asset - my eyes- (after my brain) is extremely important. I accepted that the harsh sun of the high Rockies meant that I needed glasses that essentially dialed everything down , much like welding goggles. Not so! Love my new glasses.

Loved these sunglasses - I have these plus the Silvertons. Super lightweight and terrific optics. Use them for both trail running and mountain biking.

Best glasses in the world in my opinion at any price

The Silverton is hands-down my favorite pair of glasses I've ever had. The lenses are beautifully crafted to provide sufficient protection, but are not so dark that eyes get complacent. I used to run with dark glacier glasses to protect my eyes as my father had ocular melanoma, but far prefer the experience with the Silverton as my eye muscles remain active. I don't leave home without them!
