Its a very nice spokeshave, for the price. It's significantly heavier than the Veritas shave which is my goto, so I don't find it as pleasant to use. But it is very useable, the blade came nice and sharp and it does a nice job.

Received these in time as promised, well packaged. I used the shipping foam molds to store them in the shop!

I love your tools. They are well made and fit my hand well. I purchased all the tools you currently market and each of them feel great in my hands. I especially like the low angle block plane. I carry it in my work apron so it's handy at all times. There was very little setup. The mechanisms work smoothly. All were pretty much ready to go out of the box after a quick touch up on the blade edges. The look and feel is refined. I have Lie Nielsen, Wood River, Grizzley, and Stanley tools. The workmanship is among the best I've seen.

I was able to get both items at a great price, the stock in the US was out, but they were able to still fulfill the order a few weeks later. I wasn't in a hurry to get them. Loving the quality though!

No response from company in three weeks of trying to return my defective plane. Bed is not milled flat, makes it impossible to get a even cut. Really wanted to like this company and hope I am a outlier. Bummed I won't be able to support MTC with any further purchases.

I really appreciate that MTC updated their review process to include photos or videos. Free ground shipping and no taxes on the purchase is a big plus in my decision to purchase their set of spokeshaves.

I got this plane recently at a discount. I used it straight out of the box and it worked pretty well. The blade opening gap is not operating as smoothly as it should so I plan to do some fettling as it seems to be binding. All in all, not a bad plane for the money and quite heavy. I think it is a notch below Lie-Nielsen and Veritas but a good buy, especially if it is on sale.
