Now, I'm not a special forces operator - just a regular Canadian - but golly do these these gloves ever make you feel like one. Jokes aside, they fit my hands well, they're excellent for road biking and outdoor tasks down to about -5 degrees Celsius (as long as you don't get them wet) and they dry pretty fast. These 0. 8mm originals seem to have a better grip on a Glock than the 0. 5mm light version. Got three pairs and have no cause for regret.

Mechanix Is just the best period I own A pair of most of the gloves they've ever made. Even if you're going for a hike, you'll want the padded palms. If you take a spill, trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Durable for intense use, one pair will last about 6 months for a stagehand. Will try the "framer" model eventually. Hard to gauge size for long and narrow hands despite sizing chart.

Mechanix customer service was too notch. Bought some gloves for full price, a week later they went on sale. I reached out and they refunded me the difference immediately.
