I had a positive experience ordering and playing McNeela's Tin Whistle in D. It sounds true to description. Has some heft to it, but not too much (just enough for me to remember it's in my pocket. . . ;)) I purchased this to have a better-quality instrument to play out in town and in church. So far so good! I also appreciated the timely delivery. Took about 1 week to arrive to me in the USA. I would strongly consider purchasing another whistle from the McNeela shop.

Easy to order, beautiful, superb quality whistle, easy tonplay, sounds amazing came in a lovely fabric case, was well packaged, took a couple of weeks to arrive in post from Ireland to the remote Scottish Island where I live but well worth the wait. I'd even one in a low (Alto) F so hoping McNeela will make those in future.
