In May, we lost our beloved Abigail. Thankfully, I purchased a nose ornament kit as a gift to my fiancé months prior, for Christmas. So, we were able to take calmly take an impression before saying goodbye. Last month, we lost our other pooch, Penny. She had been in the hospital and wasn't getting better. Daria worked with us to rush an impression kit to NYC, so we could take an impression of Penny's nose before saying goodbye. That level of compassion and service is so rare and special. And the quality of her work is amazing. Really captures their noses. Abigail's ribbon is pink and, although I ordered white for Penny, after seeing a picture of my girls in their Christmas sweaters (Abigail in pink and Penny in Green), Daria thought to use green for Penny's ornament so the ornaments would match the sweaters. We love our ornaments and feel so lucky to have met (albeit digitally) Daria.

Last year, my beautiful son was killed in a pedestrian hit and run. At that time, Daria made me a fingerprint necklace that I wear every day. The problem was, my daughter is getting married soon. Once I realized I couldn’t wear the necklace with my dress, I was devastated. I needed a way to make sure Matt was with me that day. I contacted Daria about making a fingerprint bracelet for me. We discussed the different options. One option I learned about, was you can have the fingerprint and message hidden. Basically you would be the only one to know what kind of bracelet it was. Right for some, but I knew right away that wasn’t the one for me. The reason; I believe my son often felt unseen and that he wasn’t enough! He was of course, but it is now my mission to make sure others feel seen and know that they are enough! So for me, I needed something tangible, to hold, touch and share. The bracelet I received was perfect! Matt’s print was on front as well as a message he wrote to me. “I love you, Matt” Six years ago, Matt walked me down the aisle at another daughter’s wedding. I ordered this piece as a surprise gift for my daughter to commemorate a very special milestone. The heart necklace is a nose print of her beloved rescue greyhound who was a cornerstone for her during a rough patch in life (and still is). It is so very precious and is a real gem and a keepsake! I love the necklace that Daria made with the mold I made of my dog’s nose. The pendant had so much detail.
