Dear Maen Team, Thank you for reaching out for my feedback. First of all, I would like to say that I am very pleased with the overall aesthetics, design, and build quality of the Manhattan 37. It is a beautiful watch. However, I am highly disappointed with the performance of the movement, which I paid an additional HK$ 4,000 to upgrade to the La Joux-Perret movement. According to your specifications, this upgraded movement is adjusted to 5 positions with an expected accuracy of ±4 seconds per day. Unfortunately, after several days of real-world testing and wearing, the watch is consistently running at +30 to +40 seconds per day. This level of accuracy is far below the promised standard and is closer to what one would expect from a basic entry-level movement, not a premium LJP caliber. Given the significant premium I paid for this upgrade, I am deeply disappointed by this. Could this be a magnetization issue caused during transit, or is it a quality control issue? I would appreciate it if you could advise on how we can resolve this matter. First off products are phenomenal for the price, my Manhattan 37 gets more compliments than my Rolex. Shipping is fast as f*ck boi.

Beautiful. Loved the whole experience. First watch i had to pre-order. The anticipation, the arrival, the unboxing; all great. Wearing it for the first time with the bracelet i was worried about it being too flashy, that's why I ordered the integrated strap too; But I've fallen in love with the architecture. I find myself starting at it while I drive. It feels alive. Absolutely stunning finishing. No Critique.

It’s okay

Overall, the quality of the watches is what I expected. No complaints with the craftsmanship. Out of the box the Skymaster and band does wear smaller than I had expected and hoped. The Manhattan 39 wore as expected. The digital print ads on the chronograph are definitely enlarged and perhaps this is stated somewhere, though I didn’t pick up on it. A couple of areas for improvement would be 1) including the tariffs during the check out process. With all of the cyber crime occurring I definitely was needing to validate the authenticity of the tariffs and these payment notices from DHL came after I already received a delivery confirmation for the next day, for both watches that I purchased separately. So it was both confusing and worrisome, less so the 2nd time around. 2) List items as out of stock when ordering or provide an estimated delivery date for them to the customer proactively. I ordered two half links with my orders and I needed to follow up with customer service twice to ensure that they will ship them to me when they are back in stock. I’m out of luck wearing the Manhattan until the link arrives. Farer would be a great company to benchmark against for operational execution. Their flows include the above suggestions as well as a very thoughtful touch. They include a hand written thank you card with each purchase and their express shipping gets the watch in your hand in a day or two from England to the USA. They even allow customers to choose their allocation number for their limited/special edition runs and engraving is also an option. ALso, their bands allow for two micro adjustments eliminating the need for buying extra half links. Their process feels much more premium and their CX is very well thought out. Their boxing and packaging materials are also very premium. I sincerely appreciate and value the opportunity to provide feedback. I know that it is a total cliche to say this, but there is no better way to describe it than insane value for money. The watch looks amazing and has the most beautiful finishing, way above it’s price range. If you think it is too much money, it really isn’t for a automatic watch of this caliber. Other than that, beautiful packaging, and I also have to credit the amazing customer service. 10/10

Great order process and prompt delivery too

I am not sure if this product from a few years ago is New Old Stock (NOS). If it is made-to-order, I think a delivery timeframe of around two months is reasonable. I would like to suggest that customer service inform clients of the estimated arrival time, so they can plan accordingly. I was honestly worried for a while that I had fallen victim to an online scam!

Watch was late according to website ETA, but after shipping announcement everything was fast and well organised. Not perfect, but not bad.

EXCELLENT service! Any questions I had, customer service answered in a timely manner, and explained perfectly. The wait time was understandably long, but it was also a preorder. Once it got in my hands though, absolute BEAUTY of a time piece! Not too flashy, not even close to bland either. Perfect balance of elegance and class, along with top quality. Definitely recommend this brand to everybody.

The Men Manhattan 40 is superb. It is SO thin, way thinner than I was expecting. It's stunning and beautiful and as my first automatic watch I couldn't be happier

Stunning looks. Very comfortable on my smaller wrist. Very happy about my purchase. Not so happy about DHL. It was not delivered on promised date. The watch is 6 seconds fast in 24 hours (timed with my i-phone’s stop watch). 52 hours of reserve power.

As I was looking to add another watch to my little collection I came across the Maen Manhattan. I was instantly interested in learning more about the watch and the company behind it. For a newer watch brand this company in my opinion is a lot better and the quality of the product is great. Better than the big watch brands that are teamed up with other brands. I just wish that one day I would be able to get another watch from Maen to add to my collection. I only had my Manhattan 39 for a couple weeks now, but when I wear it I get a lot of questions and complements on it. To conclude this review, I'm very proud to now own a watch by Maen. And with some time, I'll save up for another one.
