I purchased the Love themed yoga mat over a year ago and absolutely love it. The design is simply stunning, and I've lost track of the number of times I've received compliments and enquiries from my fellow yogis and teachers. The mat's grip on the studio floor is terrific! Hasn't slipped or ruffled up once in the months I've used it. The mat's surface isn't super sticky to begin with, but gets progressively more grippy once you get warmed up and spend a few minutes on it i.e. your hands+feet's grip and sweat makes the mat stickier. I actually like that it isn't too sticky right off the bat since I don't feel restricted during my flow, pivoting and transitioning has less resistance. And unlike a lot of other yoga mat, the mat's surface hasn't disintegrated one bit (i've used the mat 5-6 times a week for atleast 1.5 years). My only issue with the mat is its weight. It's almost 10 lbs and not super portable.

These mats are amazing, I love how dense the mat is, providing cushion as needed. I loved my jade yoga mat but it didn't last a year, this mat has been used 5-6 days a week and is still holding strong for over a year. Beautiful prints that are one of a kind.

After about a month of practicing at a local yoga studio an instructor recommended Sankalpa mats to me so I bought one. That was just over 2 years ago. Since then I have dedicated myself to practice and so do nearly every day. This mat and I have spent a lot of time together. The only reason it's not perfect 5 star rating is that it has started to peel along the edges and the top layer of the mat is coming loose. Other than this I love the mat. It's sturdy, give great feel and looks amazing.

I love the pattern and fabric of my new Sankalpa yoga pants, but the leg seam came undone within 3 weeks of getting them.

I know I should, but I never write reviews. This yoga mat certainly deserves time and a 'thank you". This is the best yoga mat I have ever used! I've been practicing yoga for over 15 years, I was looking for a really good mat and asked one of my hot yoga instructors. She suggested Sankalpa and I am so happy that I asked her. You do not need a constantly slipping towel over the mat. Perfectly non slippery particularly after getting a little moist, nicely thick and so comfortable for any pose. And the design options are just so beautiful. I am certainly not looking for any more yoga mats in future, and suggesting this one to anybody who would ask me. Thank you to the company for doing such a good job.

Buying the Sankalpa cork mat was the best choice I could have made. It's perfect! It feels so soft under the hands and feet, it gives a good grip, supports the joints, is lightweight and it looks amazing <3 I love it <3!

It’s beautiful! I love the geometric print and the colors. It’s easy to clean (-I have a dog and a toddler at home...). It’s a little heavy to take it to classes in a backpack. But the thickness also makes it easy to do yoga without pain on any bone touching the ground. Highly recommended!!
