My mum bought me my first boar hair brush when I was 15. I remember her telling me, "Take care of it, it cost me an arm and a leg!" I didn't realize at the time how good this brush was, but I kept it for 25 years. Then, life took over, and I didn't focus too much on which brush I was using. I went with the flow, purchasing a new brush every 2 years or so, thinking that my hair wasn't as beautiful as it used to be due to aging. Then social media showed me this, and my younger years' memories came back. After doing my research, I purchased a La Bonne Brosse, I'm French, after all. I've been using it for 3/4 weeks now. I can't really see the results on my length yet, but I notice that I only need to wash my very long, straight hair once a week now. So I guess it is a good sign.
