I bought two of these. I had hoped to buy a bottle with the sports cap that children can pull out with their teeth (my friends’ children have these) but Klean Kanteen appear to have stopped selling these so I settled for the flip cap. My purpose in buying these was to allow my little one to drink from a bottle independently, but unfortunately unless the flip cap is opened 100% of the way, it dribbles out of the side, and explaining to a toddler that she has to ensure that the cap is open absolutely all of the way before she can take a sip is futile indeed. So that means I have to open it and hold it whilst she drinks, which negates the whole reason for buying it. As I have two of these flip caps in different colours, it’s clearly not a one-off but a flaw in the caps’ design. Nevertheless, it remains a sturdy and robust bottle that holds a good amount of water and slots neatly into the side pocket of a bag, so in that sense it’s a very good bottle. But if Klean Kanteen ever start selling the sports cap again, I’ll be buying two of them (you can still find some of these sports caps from retailers online, buy they’re mostly sold at an extortionate price, or by some rather suspect website, so I decided against…)
