Honestly, what surprised me was that the slight acidity gives my skin that extra little bit of cleansing with the shave. My face feels so good that I've started shaving in the morning AND before bed, to remove all those oils built up after a grimy day in front of the computer monitor. A perfect match for a Takeda-san large gyuto / razor. Also removed the rust from my Shirogami #1 santoku, win!

My son has recently started shaving, and often would leave some ketchup on his face before shaving. This product has reduced our ketchup consumption by 10%, down to 900 ml a week from the 1L we had been using previously.

This is exactly the shaving product that I needed and wanted. The creamy texture of the ketchup slid across my skin so nicely and allowed me to get the closest shave of my life. The scent reminds me of family barbecue’s which brings up a feeling of nostalgia. I highly recommend it 10/10!!!

You’ll be licking your lips with this shaving cream. I don’t recommend licking your razor though. I only gave a 4 out of 5 stars for two reasons: 1) my poor wife nearly had a heart attack when she saw me shaving, and 2) I do think I prefer the scent and soothing qualities of Taylor of Old Bond Street (in sandalwood, of course).

The texture is the first thing you notice and how smooth it goes on your face. Don't worry about it getting in the edge of your mouth, the flavor is incredible! The thickness of the rubi red tomatoe glaze transforms to a very thick whip to hold those hairs up for a very close shave.

I really really love the unique texture this cream lathers up in my shaving bowl and the fact that they chose to use real ruby red tomatties in their recipe. I immediately noticed the difference in quality upon opening this cream. This particular ketchupy scent is phenomenal. I can’t think of even one single other ketchupy cream that could compare to it. Mmm! Seriously, very few shaving creams allow me to experience all the nostalgic summer memories I have with ketchup while doing my head shaving routine in the mornings. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! Did I mention I also use it to clean my brass safety razors as well? That’s where the overwhelming acidity of those natural tomats truly shines - just like my brass hardware does now!! 5/5 Well done.
