Thank you for repairing my drysuit wrist gaskets, I like the drop off box because I work swing shift and was able to drop it off at noon on my way to work and pick it up from the box on my way home at 11pm, I need to do that again after 4 weekends on the Tieton I having a leak on my bootie seal separation. Also interested in buying a used kokatat drysuit,,large, thanks.

Purchased a used dry suit online. Called to ask a question first and service was very friendly - small local store type. Fit was excellent. Condition was exactly as described. Extremely quick order processing - shipped next day, arrived 2 days after that. Couldn’t be happier.

Contacted KA for a replacement hatch cover for an old Wilderness Systems kayak. A 24/26 was recommended. Unfortunately, this did not fit and I had to incur shipping costs for the return

I have done business with the Kayak Academy since 2007. They are my local, go-to resource for my paddling needs, including sales, rentals, repairs, and advice.

Some of my paddling associates had taken a class at Kayak Academy a number of years ago. They spoke highly about the experiences especially about the instruction in tides and currents. My paddling experience left me with a lack of knowledge in that area so that was my main motivation fir taking the class. It exceeded my expectation.

George Gronseth, the owner, manager and lead instructor at the Kayak Academy is impeccably honest and forthright when it comes to kayak equipment and clothing. He has personally tested most of the items he sells and will tell you what is durable and comfortable so that you get the products that will last; therefore, one doesn’t have to go through iterations of equipment and money to find something that will stand up to the rigors of kayaking. All mail orders are prompt and accurate and the prices are fair. George also teaches sea kayaking and is very knowledgeable, professional and conscientious. His training sessions are ideal and unsurpassed. He also answers emails promptly when one has a question and provides excellent advice.

Kayaking gear is EXPENSIVE. It's so great to have a place where you can buy well-cared for used gear. I bought a drysuit and really appreciated the included instructions on care and the included wax and soap.
