Im from the mainland
I'm from the mainland and I received Kaiulani's Curry Rice as a gift from my family. My husband made the rice and we were amazed! The smell of it was so deliciously fragrant and the taste was out of this world yummy! It was so wonderful that I contacted Kaiulani and ordered more and then again more. The spices are just as fragrant and delicious on all fish and meats. Thank you, Kaiulani for selling the rice and spices. I've become a loyal customer and shared the rice with my friends. They all absolutely love it. The mainlanders need to know about this healthy and amazing cuisine. I have friends and relatives in many states on the mainland and I'm buying and sending them each a pound of Kaiulani's rice. I've all ready called them all and they are impatiently waiting on me to place more orders. For those who want to order, go to kaispices com I give his rice 10 stars and 10 thumbs up!

I LOVE Exotic Curry
I LOVE Exotic Curry !!!!!!! So much I took it to the cook at the Pagoda. I asked him to make it for my Wedding Reception on Nov 7, 2015 instead of white rice. I bought him the Ka'iulani Spice (Exotic Curry) and dried cramberries, and told him how to make it. My wedding reception was a Success because of Ka'iulani Spices. Also, I just went to the Hawaii Lodging, Hospitality and Foodservice Expo to pick up some more bottle of the Spice. YUMMY!!!!!. Here is a photo for the team there that was at the Expo July 14, 2016. d:P

Kaiulani Spices are the
Kai'ulani Spices are the best. Her spices are stronger and more potent than other organic spices I've tried. A little can go very far. I think it's because of the roasting technique they use. Furthermore, Kai has done all the thinking for you and created spice combinations that work perfectly together. I used the Exotic Curry blend and it's so amazing. Lastly, I love that the spices are 100% organic. You can find her online, at wholefoods, open markets and other local grocery stores. If you go to their website, you can also find her amazing recipes using her spices.

Kaiulani Spices should be
Kaiulani Spices should be in everyone's spice collection. Not only are they made in Hawaii, but they are organic, and free of gluten, GMOs, preservatives, and MSG. And best of all, they are incredibly easy to use. There are 7 different flavors: kona coffee, Hawaiian Spice, Alaea Salt, Chinese 5 Spice, Lani's Herb Garden and Exotic Curry. The exotic curry is probably the most well known since Kaiulani is always demo-ing her Famous Exotic Curry Fried Rice with Cranberries at the Farmers Markets, military exchanges and craft fairs. But all of her spices are excellent rubs for poultry, meat, and seafood. I recently rubbed them on bone-in chicken thighs with olive oil and baked them for 50 minutes and viola - dinner is ready! Her spices really do live up to their motto - FLAVOR WITHOUT THE LABOR! Available for purchase on their website (Kaispices. com) or at various retailers and shops island-wide.

If youve never used
If you've never used these spices you're missing out. They go with everything. I just used them in eggs today (Hot Exotic Curry), and a burger yesterday (Kona Coffee Rub). Really you can't go wrong. If you're like me, and you love adding spice to things but you're not confident in your ability to pair spices together, these blends from Kaiulani spices are your answer! Yum!

If you want to
If you want to be a hit at a pot luck, party, or get together you have to try out the curry rice with cranberries. I used to buy poke, fried chicken, mando, or ribs to a potluck. . . . which could cost anywhere from $20 to $50 but now I just make Kaiulani Spices' curry rice and it's always gets rave reviews from everyone at the party (and I never have any leftovers). It also cost me less than $10 to make. I am not a great cook but I've made this dish 6 times now (Kaiulani spices also gives out an easy recipe page, for easy to make dishes using her spices). All of the spices are Organic. You can use these spices on everything! Some of the other spices I have beside the Exotic curry include: Kona Coffee Rub (great for meats), Hawaiian Herb Garden (use on anything), Hawaiian Alaea (great for steak and prime rib), Alaeo Sea Salt (I love this on my egg omelets and vegetables). I am a former national bodybuilding champion so all of my prepared foods are very bland and boring. Using Kaiulani Spices definitley makes my meals much more enjoyable.

Turn a bland meal
Turn a bland meal into gourmet restaurant food with these amazing organic spices. I know I sound like a TV ad, but truthfully, I couldn't believe the difference they made. Every time I cook at home, these miracle-makers are at my side. Kaiulani Spices are fail-safe. Try them on your friends - they'll think you took cooking lessons!

Like many others, I
Like many others, I came across Kaiulani Spices from their food demo at a Christmas craft fair. The scent of the exotic curry spices drew me into their demo and I watched with ease on how one can use their spices in every day cooking. All I've got to say is you HAVE to try their curry rice with cranberries. It is one of the best simple dishes I've ever tried and it compelled me to buy a bag of their exotic curry spices and cook it exactly like that on my own. Kaiulani was also nice enough to share her recipes with her little booklet she gives out with purchase. With my dad being a chef for many years, it is almost impossible to impress him with my cooking. My girlfriend and I set on a challenge to see if he liked it and so to that we cooked Kaiulani's famous curry fried rice. I wasn't betting anything that he would enjoy it but I was surprised that both my mother and father loved it. He even set out to see what interesting things he can do with this curry spice. Hand it to Kaiulani Spices. They impressed a hard to impress chef, made my girlfriend and I look like good cooks, and we even had a great lunch! Her spices are worth every penny, and trust me, get the bag and not the bottle. You're going to want to experiment with other things.

We just had Kaiulanis
We just had Ka'iulani's curry rice with cranberries at the Ala Moana Farmers' Market. GOOD GOD. I'm going to be dreaming about that stuff until we track her down again.

I came across a
I came across a Kaiulani Spices food demo one day, many months ago. It may have been Kaiulani herself, with an electric skillet, passing out her curried rice samples in little disposable cups. I went back a few weeks later and got a bottle of her Hot Exotic Curry and wanted to re-create the recipe that I sampled that on that weekend day. Being that I am currently on vacation, on a DOE ""departmental leave without pay"" salary, I made this for lunch today with my leftover Jasmine rice from last night's Wan Chai Ferry kit. I had to add a little bit more of my own Safeway Jasmine rice to have a total of four cups, along with some other modifications: Ka'iulani's Famous Exotic Curry Fried Rice with Cranberries (from her website, with my slight modifications) 1/3 cup of Costco extra virgin olive oil 2. 5 Tbs of Kaiulani's Exotic Curry 1 Tbs garlic (I used the pre-minced bottled kind, that's all I had) 1/4 cup cilantro (also used the last of what I had) 4 cups leftover, chilled Jasmine rice from last night 2 Tbs chopped cranberries (leftover from a party) Green onion stalks, sliced small (didn't have any, so I left it out) ""Put olive oil in pan. When oil is heated, add garlic, Ka'iulani's Curry, cilantro stems and cranberries. Cook until garlic is done. Add rice. Mix well together with a fork. Add green onions and cilantro leaves to the rice and mix again. "" You have to try this. It's really good and it was from everything that I already had in the house. I'll have to eat it again tomorrow.

Its hard to believe
It's hard to believe that there isn't a review on Kaiulani Spices already, because they certainly have a cult following. Maybe you've seen Kaiulani Cowell with her awesome smile stirring that fantastic curry/cranberry rice at KCC (she has the greatest vibe). If you haven't stopped to try it, seriously, you'll be surprised and how something so flavorful can be so simple. My favorite is the curry (of course), I use it in absolutely everything and the Kona coffee spice which I keep finding new uses for, including on seared ahi. . mmm. . . I love the gift packs which I send back to the mainland with a little ""nah nah nah nah nah, look what else we have right in our backyard!"" If you like to cook, if you are a localvore, if you like organic, you will be glad you found these. . . if you haven't already!
