Good overall. Only point to note: of all the fish I have had shipped to my home from around the United States, this is, without a doubt, the most concerning temperature -control packaging yet. My fishy *is* gorgeous. absolutely arrived alive. my USPS carrier, probably the bottom of the barrel for intelligence, put it in the mailbox. thankfully I was waiting for the delivery notification and ran right down there to get it but when I opened the packaging, before I saw fishy, I was very concerned because it was very hot inside the packaging. maybe other breeder's packaging is overkill? I don't know. however, he is beautiful, appears the indicated age, and I appreciate it.

The coloration depicted in the photos are different then in person. The lighting is a major factor. . . but I have not found a way to see the full green as displayed in the images. I used a full spectrum light and that helped a little. I feel a little let down because I paid a high price for these bettas. The bettas otherwise, arrived in excellent condition given the excellent care in packaging.

For the first time ever I ordered a betta online. I usually “rescue” one from a tiny cup in a pet store and decided this time to try a reputable breeder. After seeing video of the fish I could see they are kept in large, clean tanks-quite unlike the pet stores. The fish I saw in the video is the exact fish I received. He is beautiful, active and healthy. He only took a few days to brighten back up after his (I’m sure) harrowing trip fro the west coast to the east coast. I highly recommend this breederz
